Bill is running the Boston Marathon in 2 months, 1 day, 22 hours, 44 minutes and 12 seconds. . . and counting. He’s fundraising for Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, and he’s met 32% of his fundraising goal. How did we get this info so fast? Bill has a couple of nifty widgets on his blog, so anyone who visits can instantly get moment-by moment information on his marathon training.
We’ve seen a lot of our fundraisers use the ever-popular fundraising widget, which you can post to your blog to show your fundraising progress. But this is the first time we’d ever seen the Adidas Countdown Widget:
It’s so fabulous, we wanted to share it with all of you. You can customize it for any race–just visit the widget generator site and type in the name, date, and time of your race. If you have a fundraising page, type in the URL! The “Sponsor Me” button on the widget will link to your page. And if you like, the widget can send you running tips based on whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced runner. How cool is that?
