Fall is prime event season for the endurance athletes among us at Firstgiving.
This year more than ever, we are astounded by the variety reasons our members complete some fantastic events for charity.

There’s Beth P dedicating her first triathlon to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, though nature had other plans. Sarah L is biking for Hope for New York, and has raised over a thousand dollars doing so. John Z is fighting cancer with the Lance Armstrong Foundation by running the Kiawah Island Marathon, and is almost to his $3000 goal. And be sure to read Veteran marathoner Susan Hurley’s story on now running a marathon takes on so much more meaning when raising money for charity.
