If you’ve been following Ryan Hall’s marathon career, you may have heard: he’s running the 2009 Boston Marathon as part of the John Hancock Elite Team.
Hall finished 10th at the Beijing Olympics with the best U.S. finish in 32 years, inspired a bunch of Firstgiving fundraisers to raise money online and run the Chicago Marathon with him, and now has his sights set on Boston, where he hopes to become the first American winner of the race since Grey Meyer won it in 1983.
Ryan and his wife, Sara, also a marathoner and pro-runner, have been using their passions for running and for the work of World Vision to raise money online. See their fundraising page here.
